Tour of Stortz Tools and John Grass Wood Turning

Storz & Son has been making tools at 2nd and Vine Sts. since 1853. Join fifth generation owner John Stortz for a tour of the company's shop, which hearkens back to the early 20th century, when Philadelphia was still known as the "Workshop of the World." Following the tour of Stortz, we'll head over to John Grass Wood Turning at 146 N. 2nd St., a sister company to Stortz for much of its history, and a site for the 2013 Hidden City Festival.
